IncludeMe
Between 1 and 3% of Mexico's population are people with developmental disabilities either by birth or by some life event, which means that between 4 and 12% of the population is in close contact with this situation.
Families of people with disabilities have many questions and concerns, like: What will happen to my son / daughter after I'm gone?
This and other questions have a professional answer in our Foundation.
In IncludeMe, we believe that anyone with (or without) disabilities has the right to live a quality life in terms of education, work, rest and shelter; and in order for this to happen, this group of people requires us to incorporate enough support to normalize their opportunities.
The Independent Living program of IncludeMe provides a model of independent living with support for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, based on building homes and complemented with appropriate services to respond to the above question forcefully.
Your loved one will be supported by the Independent Living program and his/ her family and support circle in order to enjoy a better of quality life, in a professional, sustainable and safe way, normalizing their situation and making it more similar as that of other individuals. However, the Independent Living program emphasizes not only to life without their families, but also all throughout their dignified adult life, sharing it with the group where they belong.
